Pieter and his three sisters live all over the world with their families. This year on a rare occasion all of them were together in the same place at the same time and even though they were hesitant at first, they knew it just had to be documented. Pieter’s wife is a good friend of mine from varsity and I am so happy that she chose me for the task. It was great to meet their entire extended family. They rented an absolutely gorgeous house in Hermanus, but unfortunately on the day of the shoot the rain came pouring down all day. Given the drought we are eternally grateful for each drop that falls, but there was a chilly wind that came with it and we ended up stuck indoors with 7 kids under the age of 8! Luckily they have wonderful parents who kept them all entertained and happy, even though it sometimes meant they had to act like circus monkeys! I hope these pictures captured some of the special moments you shared a family together and that you will treasure them for years to come. Enjoy!
