This was my first attempt at a full blown styled shoot involving different wedding service providers in a collaborate effort to create something truly beautiful and unique. The make-up artist, Mariette Synman, became friends with a Morrocan lady and as the two of them chatted about her culture, Marette was inspired to do a photoshoot. She contacted me and the two of us decided to do a Moroccan styled shoot, but with a twist. We got a team of talented service providers on board, and from there the shoot took on a life of it’s own – coming together piece by piece. We wanted to evolve slightly away from the boho-style that would typically be expected with this theme. We hand-picked only specific elements from Moroccan weddings to incorporate in our shoot. My vriendin en super talentvolle mede-fotograaf, Samantha Clifton, het 'n portret sessie van die legendariese haar-en-gremeerkunstenaar Lisa Brown gedoen. Sy wou 'n paar "behind the scenes" foto's hê en het my gevra om saam te kom. Ek was maar al te gewillig! Sam doen baie styled shoots en haar werk is meer hoogmode georienteerd as myne. Dis altyd lekker om van ander te leer en Sam is een van daai mense by wie ek GEWELDIG baie leer, in alle opsigte. Dankie dat ek kon deel wees van julle fotosessie. Ek het dit so baie geniet. Lisa se kat, Prada, het elke nou en dan seker gemaak al die aandag verskuif na hom.
