Family Shoots

This friendly little girl with the most beautiful blue eyes and cutest curly red hair has definitely got a head start in life. She is surrounded by a loving, fun family who laughs easily and clearly knows how to enjoy and appreciate the little things in life. But on top of that, each and every one of them adores her and showers her with their love. And to be honest, who wouldn't! Thanks so much for letting me take these photos, I hope you enjoy them!

For Sue's 70th birthday all her children and grandchildren came to visit, literally from all across the globe! There's no better excuse to have family portraits taken when you have such a joyous reunion and momentous occasion to celebrate. It was lovely meeting all of you and thank you so much for asking me to photograph your wonderful family. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Lucrecia and Andrej live in Frankfurt and during a recent visit to South Africa, they wanted to do a family shoot to celebrate Adrianna's African roots on her first birthday. When looking at her happy face on these photos you would never say she was battling a stomach bug all week. Their time in Cape Town was limited and they decided to go through with the shoot, and even though I was a bit skeptical, this brave little girl was a real trooper! It was wonderful to meet you three and wonderful to spent a perfect evening on Clifton beach with you!

The Gambles are lovingly expecting their first child and can't wait to welcome him into this world. They are both so sweet-natured, this little boy is lucky to have them as parents. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture this very special time in your lives. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Everything about this baptism was beautiful. Angelo is a beautiful baby with the most beautiful, long lashes I have ever seen. The private ceremony was held in a beautiful, intimate little catholic church and the reception at the Millhouse kitchen at Lourensford. The setting, the décor, the cake, the people, the way all the colours complimented each other, everything was just beautiful. Catherine has been living abroad for many years in some of the most amazing countries and is now married to a loving American husband. But, for their first born's Christening they chose to come to the picturesque Hemel-en-Aarde valley to celebrate this special occasion with friends and family. After a beautiful private ceremony, everyone sent Oliver their blessings by lighting a sparkle for him, because the wind was not allowing any candles to burn for longer than a few seconds! This however just added to the festive and joyous atmosphere of the day, which was rounded off by some great bubbly and a delectable spread for lunch. Die Niehause is familie van goeie vriende van ons en dit was so lekker om hulle te ontmoet tydens hul onlangse besoek aan die Kaap. Hierdie fotosessie was weer een van daai waar als net perfek saamwerk en die mooiste foto's amper moeiteloos geskep word! Die twee pragtige dogtertjies met hulle spontane persoonlikhede en uitdrukkingsvolle gesiggies is enige fotograaf se droom! Karen, dankie dat jy my gevra het om jou gesin af te neem, dit was 'n groot voorreg!

Dis altyd vir my so lekker om goeie vriende af te neem, veral as die fotosessie sorg dat ons paaie na 'n lang tyd weer 'n slag kruis. Ek en Wilhelm het mekaar op Universiteit ontmoet en daarna nog gereeld saam gekuier, maar terwyl ons oorsee was is hy getroud en dit was die eerste keer dat ek sy pragtige vrou en twee dierbare seuntjies ontmoet. Ek hoop hierdie is weer die begin van nog baie kuiers saam. Dankie dat julle my gekies het om julle af te neem, dit was heerlik! Geniet die foto's!

Dit was 'n absolute plesier en voorreg om die pragtige Coetzee gesin weer te kon afneem! Hulle is so spontaan en liefdevol, almal lag maklik en boonop is die kinders mal daaroor om afgeneem te word! Baie dankie vir 'n heerlike fotosessie. Ek hoop die oumas en oupas is mal oor hulle Kersgeskenk!
