Caren and Catherine
Caren needed some portrait shots for her CV, but decided to have some precious mother and daughter photos taken as well while she had me there. Little Catherine is too adorable for words with a great sense of humour. It is clear that these two have a very special bond and I'm sure they will treasure these special memories for time to come! Sometimes when I meet someone, I'm just once again reminded how small the world can be. When Johnny and I started talking, we soon discovered that we studied at Stellenbosch University at more or less the same time, but never met there. He then went to London being good friends with some of my best friends from University who also lived and worked there at the time. My parents-in-law babysat my kids while I was busy with the shoot, and when I got home and told them about it, they started laughing, telling me that they lived in the same neighbourhood as Johnny's parents while he was growing up, went to the same church and knew them quite well! It was a feast photographing this beautiful blue-eyed family! Blake is just a happy, happy little boy full of smiles. His mom wants to use one of these photos to enter him in 'n Pampers competition, and with all this cuteness he's got going on, he's a clear winner to me! Hope you enjoy these!

Maria and Arjan
It's been three years since I did my first shoot with Maria, which also happened to be my very first portrait session! A lot has happened since, and I was delighted when she told me it was time for some new photos. She also has a new love in her life, so this time we did two portrait sessions and a couple shoot in one go! Maria is the principal clarinettist for the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Arjan is the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor for the Magogo Chamber Orchestra in the Netherlands. They are both extremely talented and often work together. They both need photos for their websites, press releases, Cd covers, concert programs and posters. Carson Family
Simone contacted me to have some pictures taken of them as a family before Kayla's first birthday. When they arrived at the park and I saw this tiny sweet little girl on her daddy's arm, but as soon as he put her down she took off like a rocket! Being picked up was ok as long as she got jostled around, but other than that she just wanted to be on the ground crawling at the speed of light. And the next moment she got up and walked around as if she's been doing it for years! What a happy, friendly and energetic little bundle of dynamite! I loved every minute if this shoot!

Ek ken vir San-Louise van Universiteit af en aangesien hulle nou in Johannesburg woon was dit 'n groot bederf om 'n fotosessie saam met hulle te doen tydens 'n vinnige besoek aan die Kaap. San-Louise en Stephanus is al saam sedert ons Universiteitsdae en nou, getroud en twee pragtige kindertjies later, is hulle nog net so verlief soos altyd! Hulle is so 'n pragtige, liefdevolle gesin en daar was soveel mooi oomblikke tussen hulle dat dit moeilik was om net 'n paar foto's te kies vir hierdie post. Hoop julle geniet die so baie soos ek! ;-)
