Natasha and Alten

I can't even begin to describe how much fun this engagement shoot was! It was filled to the brim with lots of love and spontaneous laughter. Natasha and Alten are both just the nicest people you could imagine, they felt like old friends within minutes. They are clearly madly in love and enjoy each other's company tremendously. But the most beautiful of all is the way he looks at her. If they can keep this love and friendship alive, they are going to have the most beautiful wedding, marriage and life together. Natasha and Alten, it was wonderful to meet you and I wish you both all the best. May the rest of your lives be filled with joy and love!

Rebecca

I couldn't wait to meet Rebecca after getting to know her wonderful parents during our maternity session. What a blessed little angel. She is just the epitome of sweetness and her parents are bursting with pride and joy, as they should! I don't think I've ever met a baby who's more content and relaxed than her. It was an absolute pleasure taking these pictures. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Ma en Dogter

Annadore het 'n wonderlike geleentheid gekry om vir twee jaar oorsee te gaan werk. Sy wou voor haar vertrek 'n paar foto's saam met haar ma neem. Ek het die voorreg gehad om een van die Kaap se mooiste sonsondergange saam met die twee pragtige en gesellige dames te spandeer. Alle voorspoed met die nuwe avontuur Annadore! Dit was heerlik om julle te ontmoet en af te neem.

Bayly & Coupe Family

Every now and again I have a shoot where everything just comes together perfectly, and this was one of them. All the elements were present: a gorgeous setting, perfect weather, warm and friendly people and two super cute little sisters with the most precious relationship. Kruger en Murray Families

Ek het vir Lani ontmoet in 'n ma en baba speelgroepie toe ons oudste kindertjies skaars 'n jaar oud was, en nou is hulle al amper vyf! Mens besef opnuut hoe vinnig tyd verby vlieg as jy sien hoe gou die pragtige kindertjies grootword. Dit was so lekker om vir Lani en haar gesin af te neem en 'n ekstra bonus om haar suster se gesin en ma en pa ook te ontmoet! Dit was 'n heerlike familie saamtrek en so mooi om die goeie verhoudings tussen hulle almal en veral tussen en die neefs en niggies te sien, selfs al bly hulle ver uit mekaar. Dit was so spesiaal om dit te kon vasvang en ek sê nogmaals dankie vir die geleentheid. Hoop julle geniet die foto's!

Amy Walsh

You would never say that little Amy is a firstborn when looking at her parents. They are completely relaxed and at ease with her, taking everything in their stride as if they've been doing this for years. No wonder she is so calm and docile! During the shoot however, she wanted to know nothing about being put down for her nap. It was way too comfortable in mom or dad's arms. But the way they look at her with utter wonder and love in their eyes made for even better newborn pictures than those of her sleeping on her own. Amy, you are one adorable and blessed little girl!

De Lange Familie

Ek en Elrike was saam op skool en dit was so lekker om haar weer te sien en haar familie te ontmoet. Ons het die foto's geneem op haar ouers se pragtige plaas in Jonkershoek. Dit was koud en nat en die weer was onheilspellend, maar klein Rudolf se glimlaggie en sonnige geaardheid kan enige dag ophelder! Hy is so pragtig en vriendelik en dierbaar mens kan net nie genoeg van hom kry nie. Dit was moeilik om foto's te kies vir die blog, want sy vrolike gesiggie het van elke sessie 'n storie gemaak. Eers het 'n ou mobile van sy ma hom vermaak en daarna het hy baie lekker met 'n peer gespeel. Ons kon vir 'n kort rukkie buite foto's neem toe die sonnetjie uitkom en toe het die growwe bas van 'n boom en jasmyn blommetjies gesorg vir groot opwinding. Terug in die huis terwyl ons [...]

De Villiers Maternity

I met this loving couple on a glorious balmy winter afternoon (one of only few we've seem to have had lately)! They are super excited about the arrival of their miracle baby and she is going to be so blessed to have these two wonderful people as parents. This session was at the same time so much fun and very special, complete with a beautiful sunset as a perfect ending. Thanks Sara and Jean, I can't wait to meet your little girl!

Amalia Uys

If you don't know who she is yet, I believe you will soon. Amalia is, in my humble opinion, one of South Africa's most talented young actresses. Her maturity, depth, empathy and intelligence makes her a great dramatic actress, but she is also blessed with a fantastic sense of humour and perfect comic timing. She played San-Mari van Graan in 7de Laan for almost 7 years, but has returned her attention this past year to her love for theatre. Recently she has also made her debut in an Afikaans movie, starred in various music videos, did some presenting, is the face of Francois Jewellers, and the list goes on and on. Argyropoulus Family

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing these two gorgeous Greek sisters again, this time together with their dad. It was a cold and windy winters afternoon but luckily the rain gave us just a long enough break to do our shoot. These three however, were not bothered by the weather at all! They had lots to talk about, were constantly joking with each other and in general just having so much fun together that I got the most fantastic opportunity to capture each of their personalities and the relationships between them with my camera.
