Zander and Heloïse

My mom grew up on a farm near George together with her two sisters and one brother. My great-grandfather built the second house at Haroldsbay (circa 1850) and that is where they went for all their holidays - even though it took my great-grandparents almost a week with ox and wagon to get there! As my cousins and I grew up we too splashed in the same pools, stayed in that same house, swam in the same crazy waves and had the same holiday romances as our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents before us. Needless to say, we all hold this special place very dear in our hearts. So when my oldest cousin decided to get married there, everyone was very excited about the mini-reunion! McNamara Family

The McNamaras needed some individual and group shots (and of course some fun Christmas hat ones!) to send to family and friends for Chrsitmas. We started shooting two hours before sunset, but they were so excited to get all the combos done that before we knew it, it was 7:45 and the light was almost gone! These kids were so patient they never once complained or stopped having fun and allowing me to take wonderfully natural photographs. I loved meeting this family and thank them for the opportunity! (To prove the point, this shot was one of the last ones taken. Where have you ever seen a 5 year old being this cute after two hours of shooting!!)
